Lee Halley was born in Simpson Bay, a traditional fishing village here in St. Maarten.

As a boy, Lee was a big fan of baseball and an accomplished player as well but his love for diving and fishing was greater. It’s no wonder that he grew up to be a commercial fisherman like his father Gaston.

Lee started his fishing business in 1973 with a locally built 18ft boat. Today with three boats, he offers visitors and locals alike with exciting Fishing expeditions.

Lee is also the owner of Lee’s Roadside Grill which he started in 1997 and has been recognized by the public as St. Martin’s/St. Maarten’s
